Ryan MacEvoy McCullough introduced us to the lyrical and powerful writing of the late Miłosz Magin, an important Polish composer who made his home in Paris and died on concert tour in Tahiti in 1999. Magin left not only a rich body of work (for solo piano, orchestra and concertos for violin, cello and clarinet), but a great legacy of successful piano students, as well as the increasingly famous Miłosz Magin International Piano Competition which he founded in Paris in 1985.
